Matrix Hacks

Day: January 19, 2019

You can’t go anywhere if you don’t have a ‘target’.

Imagine you have a car, this car is full of fuel.

Everytime you get in, you want to go somewhere, but you don’t know where you want to go. The car will sit there as for as long as you don’t have any dreams, goals and ambitions otherwise known as a ‘target’.

To move a car, you need a target.

The same is with your body, your body is like that car – it will go nowhere if it doesn’t have any direction.

Most people sit and wait for the perfect idea. Let me say one thing about ideas. Ideas can be round, triangle and cube type. It’s a metaphor for you smart guys.

When you first start doing something you gain experience. It’s better when you start something in the real world and face real world challenges, blogging to success can be a great challenge because blogging is in real world, not in a game.

Anyway. Most people stall because they have no ambitions, they let other people dictate their lives. I know this because I have had many friends who are somewhat stuck.

One thing is to be stuck in your front yard, the other thing is to be stuck on the bumpy road, but as long as you have a TARGET, you will be moving towards that target.

When you start out with a vision, how your life should be. You then need to gain knowledge in that field because let’s admit it– we all have to have some sort of fields we are good at, at least healthy people have to.

Imagine you’re living with your mom in the basement. I know many people live in the basement in the America, seen couple of streamers who stream from the basement. Anyway, you want to lay the foundation for yourself.

Because without the foundation you will be useless, what you’ll do when your mom dies. Sooner or later you’ll be forced to do something.

But if you have these good conditions to live with, you should be hungry for more but if you are desireless, aimless – you’ll end up drifting through life.

And there’s nothing worse than to drift through life. When you drift through life, you let life dictate it’s way to you.

Poor and unsuccessful people think that life just happens, but successful know that life is a process that involves aimed direction.

If you want to be a poet (nothing bad with that) but then you have to think like a poet.

I knew I wanted to be a blogger since I knew about blogs, but then I stalled for 10 years, started few blogs and they failed miserably, because I was not sure about what I should write and I was an imitator of things other people do.

And now I do my own thing in my own way.

When you have no direction, you won’t go anywhere with your car and it doesn’t matter if it’s a ferrari or lamborghini or old volkswagen golf – it will just sit in your front yard.

Laziness is a stop sign.

I see all these motivational videos, when I watch them I always get hyped.

You see, I’m a person who is lazy. I’m a lazy fuck, but on the other hand, what is laziness?

Laziness is an internal stop signal. We are not homosapiens, but homoeconomicus, people who save up their energy for something more greater.

If you are lazy at the moment, this simply means that you haven’t found an idea which will be worth doing in the long run.

As humans, we not only want things, but we desire them.

There’s this simple scheme to motivation: Target< go, stop, return.

If you’re lacking motivation in any form, this means that your body is signaling you that your current lifestyle is good enough.

When you watch a typical motivational video, they’re always want you to exercise as if there is no other form of success, just exercising. That is plain nonsense.

As long as you do what you want to do – you are successful, but keep in mind that most people are lazy and laziness itself is in our genes.

If you think that you’re a lazy person, you have the wrong belief.

Let’s assume a situation. You’re out of smokes, sick and the weather outside is cold and harsh, but if you really want to smoke – you’ll get up and go to the furthest shop if you need a smoke.

I know this from my experience. If I want to smoke – I’ll do whatever it takes to get a smoke because I’m motivated to smoke.

If you’re lazy this means you haven’t found what you really want. Motivation is simply a target to a thing you desire. Lazy people build roads and buildings and whatever they need – because we’re all lazy, well, at least most of us.

Laziness means that your actions would be not so effective, because the subconscious mind is dictating all conditions to your body. The conscious mind is just there for you to be in it. Conscious mind is powerless when it comes to subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind does all the ‘calculations’ and it knows better what it wants and what it doesn’t want.

When you watch a motivational video, the video implies what you want, but deep inside what you want and what the video wants you to do isn’t aligned.

If you align your true desires the video will help more than for one day, but if you haven’t got what you want – watch all those motivational videos and they won’t motivate you longer than for one day.

When you’re lazy – you shouldn’t bother yourself with the question ‘what do I want?’ because what we want is the product of our subconsciousness.

Laziness is simply a stop sign.

Picking your hustle.

When I was younger I knew that someday I’d be rich. That day didn’t come, yet.

Deep inside my skull I knew that I’m better than I get. I have this sense of being big and great, but when I started applying my beliefs to life. It appeared that being big and great is really hard, especially when you’re starting out as a nobody.

Back in the day I had a life, but then was struck by schizophrenia, this made my life a bit more difficult, but over 6 years I’ve got used to it.

I can’t say I’m struggling with schizophrenia badly. No, my symptoms are okay and being in a mental house for couple of days isn’t that bad.

When picking a side hustle, or main hustle. You got to pick something that you’re comfortable with. I don’t say don’t go out of your comfort zone. Because you can always extend your comfort zone.

I picked blogging as a main hustle. Blogging is comfortable for me because not a lot of people read my blog.

You don’t want a side hustle where you’re always full of stress and discomfort because it will drain you over the time.

At first when I started publishing online it wasn’t comfortable, when I started online video – it wasn’t comfortable – now it’s comfortable.

The main thing I want to tell here. Don’t play games with your hustle. You know being a youtuber is easier in a game than in real life.

If you’re a hustler like me – you want always something more and you believe deep inside that you are worth more than you have. This is the hustle talking.

As a hustler I don’t want to settle and accept what I’ve got. Sure I’m grateful for what I’ve got, but I don’t want to settle.

Deep inside I believe I could be this awesome blogger and make money. Because since I realized about blogging I knew I want to do this. Because blogging gives you flexibility and being your own boss is cool. Working from everywhere you want. Currently working from my own room, but whatever man – I like the idea.

There are many hustles you can choose from. But if I were you I would choose something that I have strengths in.

From business side I can say that there is an oversupply of bloggers. And new blogs will face a huge challenge when trying to compete with those who are already established.

All you have to do is establish yourself as some sort of expert. Everybody needs an expert these days.

PS. If I will make it as a blogger. I mean paid blogger to write whatever I want I’ll then say how I did it. I can say how I’m doing it now – it just write text on my blog and do no marketing. I believe good stuff can market itself, but if after 10 years from writing this I’m not successful, I’ll give myself 10 more years. Just like Bukowski did.

Fuck coding.

I tuned into freecodecamp.org and before I had completed somewhat 40-50 lessons. Today I joined the website and realized I forgot everything I learned.

Man coding is interesting, I wish I could code humans or hack them.

It pisses me that I can’t memorize the code.

I’m sitting many years in front of a computer, I, myself, think like a computer, but man fuck coding.

I like writing, not coding.

Yes, there are many opportunities to learn, really there’s more opportunities to learn that it was when I was 20 years old.

There are two types of learning, when you upgrade your knowledge and when you upgrade your skills.

From a skill point, I know how to do some computer troubleshooting and barely can cook an egg. From a knowledge standpoint I have various knowledge about life, but man. I’m tired of constantly learning new stuff.

I really don’t like coding.

If I could do fun for a living.

Over the years I realized that I don’t want to work…

…instead I want to do fun for a living.

I find vlogging fun, podcasting fun, and blogging fun.

But over the years I couldn’t find a solution to make a living from it.

I earned some irregular cash from my vlogging endeavours.

Working becomes a chore when you don’t like it. I’m not that kind of blogger who will promise you the laptop lifestyle. Sure I’m not.

I just wanted to tell that for some folks, people like me, it’s really hard to make a living. Sure I could write the best blog post ever, but who would read it?

Before you can write good shit you need an audience, but before you get an audience – you need to write good shit.

Everything is interlocked.

I’ve seen these college kids making decent income with their blogs. I want it too. But maybe my articles suck, I don’t know.

I just don’t want to be a writer who writes the same shit like everybody else.

Man, this is a hard problem. Audience building is really hard when you actually try to do it.

I will still pursue fun because I want my life to be fun and not a chore.
